Abstract Isomorphism detection is fundamental to the synthesis and innovative design of kinematic chains (KCs). The can be performed accurately by using similarity KCs. However, there are very few works on isomorphism based properties similar vertices. In this paper, an ameliorated multi-order adjacent vertex assignment sequence (AMAVS) method proposed seek out vertices identify planar First, specific definition AMAVS described. Through calculation AMAVS, value reflecting uniqueness topology features established. Based sequence, all possible vertices, corresponding relations, discrimination realized. By checking topological graph KCs with a different number links, effectiveness efficiency verified. Finally, employed implement 9-link 2-DOF(degree freedom)
